AM Editores is a publishing house founded in 1997 by the architects Fernando de Haro Lebrija and Omar Fuentes Elizondo, who have solid professional training that has allowed them to specialize not only in architectural and interior design, but also in publishing art books.
From our outset as a publishing company, we have documented a synthesis of our country’s architecture, setting out the range of cultures, geographical and climatic conditions, materials and colors that form part of the daily life of Mexican Architecture.
Later on, we decided to extend our sphere of work beyond architecture, but without losing our essence as a publishing company. We believe that books play a crucial role in transmitting value inherent to many human activities over time.
As a result, AM Editores came into being in July 2003 as a company that created value in the form of words and images printed on paper as a true testament of art and beauty.
The company has published books on a large range of fields, including architecture, sculpture, interior design, gastronomy, lifestyles and sports, and there are a great many more subjects waiting to be explored and published, the sole condition being that they be worthy of coverage in a book of art.
Our publishing budget is currently distributed among different countries such as Mexico, the United States, Canada, Bolivia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Australia, England, Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Portugal, India, Turkey, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. This provides us with a great opportunity for informing the world of the architectural work being performed in Mexico.
Each day we strive to achieve the highest standards in our books, by creating a beautiful design and using the most advanced printing methods expressed in our publications through color, spaces, volumes and textures.
